His journey in the realm of social impact began as a volunteer at Platform for Labour Action, laying the foundation for a career marked by compassion and commitment.
His impactful trajectory continued at Save the Children in Hoima, where he served as a Senior Child Protection Officer, specializing in the South Sudanese and Congolese response in Uganda.
Demonstrating leadership qualities, he then assumed the role of Team Leader at Africa Development Corps (ADC) Kiryandongo, contributing significantly to the organization’s mission.
AVSI Uganda welcomed Mr. HIRE Benard as a Protection Specialist and later as a Senior Child Protection and Legal Services Officer in Adjumani, further honing his expertise in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable populations.
His dedication to making a difference led him to Child Voice International, where he took on the role of Program Manager at the Imvepi refugee camp, addressing the unique challenges faced by those in need.
Following this, he contributed his skills as a Program Coordinator at Sole Hope International, showcasing his versatility and adaptability.
Currently serving as the Project Coordinator for the My Life My Responsibility program at S.O.S Children’s Villages, Mr. HIRE Benard continues to make a significant impact in the NGO sector.
