Job Description:

The Company is seeking a dedicated and motivated Customer Relations Officer to join our team. This position will be based in Kawempe, Uganda and will involve both in-office and outside-office responsibilities. The Customer Relations Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and promoting our farm planning solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understand their needs and concerns, and ensure their satisfaction with our farm planning services.
  2. Client acquisition and Onboarding: Acquire new clients and assist them in the onboarding process, providing them with necessary information, training, and support to effectively utilize our farm planning services.
  3. Client Support: Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally. Provide technical support or escalate technical issues to the appropriate team when necessary.
  4. In-Office and Outside-Office Work: Part of the role may involve visiting clients to assess their needs. Office work will involve responding to emails, phone calls, and scheduling client visits.
  5. Sales Support: Collaborate with the technical team to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling our services to existing clients.
  6. Feedback Collection: Collect feedback and suggestions from clients and relay this information to the product development team for continuous improvement of our services.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, including inquiries, feedback, and support requests.
  8. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on client interactions, satisfaction levels, and common issues to help improve service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in customer relations, customer service, or a related field is an advantage.
